If I try selecting 50 lines - it can take Sublime Text 1 minute to catch up. If I try selecting 10 lines at once and release the mouse then move it elsewhere ( I use middle mouse button because alt doesn't seem to work well in ST3 which is what I used in Notepad++ ) when Sublime Text catches up, instead of processing the mouse-up condition AT the location where it happened, it processes it at the CURRENT mouse position SECONDS after causing all other text to get highlighted. When selecting more than 3 or so lines, Sublime Text exponentially slows down for each additional line, regardless of whether text is selected or not. I typically use it to align code by inserting tabs, sometimes to edit but mostly formatting.
